Indigo Healthcare are interested in seeing CVs of any doctors looking for opportunities at Specialty Level to join the Emergency Medical Team at the York & Scarborough teaching hospitals NHS Trust to pursue a CESR opportunity.

Permanent Position.

Salary:

£45,124 - £77,519

Job Overview:

York & Scarborough Teaching Hospitals are looking to appoint a specialty doctor who is looking to progress down the CESR pathway in the field of emergency medicine. The role will offer the appointed candidate a Registrar level opportunity and offer training over 3-4 years to become a consultant.

An ideal candidate will be committed to the field of emergency medicine and want to pursue a career in this field to consultant level. CESR is a great way to achieve the ability to work independently as a consultant in the NHS.

Scarborough is a resort town on England’s North Sea coast. Its 2 bays with sandy beaches are split by a headland bearing the 12th-century Scarborough Castle. Scarborough SEA LIFE Sanctuary’s marine displays and the Peasholm Park Japanese gardens are behind North Bay.

York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust provides a comprehensive range of specialist acute and community healthcare services for approximately 800,000 people living in York, North and East Yorkshire and Ryedale - an area covering 3,400 square miles.

Qualifications

Essential Criteria:

  • MCEM or equivalent registration.
  • Full GMC registration.
  • 4+ Years of experience postgraduate Training
  • 1 Year experience at specialty level in Emergency Medicine.
  • Minimum 6 Months UK experience In Emergency Medicine
  • Current ALS certificate
