Join the Team as a Consultant in Acute Medicine!

Location: Cheshire  
Salary: £99,532 to £131,964  
Contract: Substantive or Fixed Term  
Sessions: 9 DCC, 1 SPA  

Are you passionate about Acute Medicine? We're looking for enthusiastic Consultants to join a 500-bed district general hospital. We welcome applicants with special interests!

- Specialty Services: Work alongside Critical Care, Respiratory Medicine, Rheumatology, Diabetes and Endocrinology, Frailty, Palliative Care, Gastroenterology, Cardiology, Care of the Elderly, and Emergency Medicine.

Facilities Include:

- Emergency Department (ED)
- Acute Medical Unit (AMU)
- Medical Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC)
- 8 acute wards
- A fully equipped four-bed Coronary Care Unit (CCU)
- 28-bed Stroke Unit (including 8 high-acuity beds)
- GP-led Ward
- Planned Intervention Unit

On-Call Duties:

- Weekday general medical on-call rota: 1 in 12
- Weekend on-call rota: 1 in 6 (two Consultants cover together)

Requirements:

- Experience as a Consultant/Specialist in the NHS
- MRCP/FRCP
- GMC registration with a full license to practice
